How Thoro Clean handles the information you give us.

What we collect

• Your account — name, email, and a password stored only as a one-way hash. We never store the password itself.
• Contact and service details — phone number and the address where the work happens.
• Your requests and jobs — what you asked for, when, what it cost, and whether it was paid.
• Support messages — anything you send us through the portal.

Why we collect it

To quote, schedule and carry out cleaning work, to invoice for it, and to answer you when you get in touch. We do not sell personal information.

Who else sees it

• The contractor assigned to your job — the service address and what the work is. They do not see your invoices, your payment history or your other jobs.
• Our infrastructure providers — Fly.io hosts the application and database; Cloudflare provides DNS and file storage; Resend sends transactional email such as sign-in and password-reset messages.

Not in place yet

Stated plainly rather than implied: online card payments, SMS notifications, and advertising or analytics tracking are not currently active. When any of them is switched on, this page changes first. The consent gate itself is already built and already in force: the only part of the site that can load a tracking script reads your choice below before it loads anything, so nothing can start tracking you by being added somewhere else.

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember the choice you make here; the site does not work without them, so we do not ask about those. Everything else is off until you say otherwise, and you can change your mind at any time — right here.

Your choices

You can see and correct most of your information from your account. To request a copy or ask us to delete it, contact us and we will confirm what we hold and what we are required to keep.

How long we keep it

Retention periods are still being set per category of data and will be published here rather than left vague.
